The Pink Edit

I think it's time to throw out all the attributes that we used to associate with pink, because it has gone through a transformation. In our eyes, pink still represents femininity, but a daring, confident brand of femininity. From pretty pastels, to highlighted hue to bold, berry tone, it's a fashion's favourite colour this season and is here to stay.
I

I have created three simple everyday looks using different shades of pink and how you can incorporate them in your wardrobe.

1. Pleated skirts
When it comes to skirts, pretty pleats and a medium length is a perfect combo. From work classics to party shimmers, it can act as an oomph factor to your entire look. You can pair it up with blouses, shirts, T-shirts, keeping in mind the look you're going for. I paired this deep pink skirt with a white T-shirt and a pair of stilettos to create an effortless summer look. You can also layer it up using a shrug or a jacket.

2. Florals.
It's not groundbreaking when I say florals for summer. But the way you style it, sure is. It's not just about the bright hues with floral prints, but something as subtle as pastels, with floral prints on it can become a wardrobe staple. Like this bodysuit that I wore with a pair of jeans, has become my absolute favourite. It's an easy go to look for college, or just a day '

3. Accessorise
If you're not sure about incorporating pink in your wardrobe, or of the opinion that it's not your colour, you can always go for accessories. You can go for bags, shoes or other accessories to give your outfit an edgy not-so-edgy look.

Do let me know if any of these were helpful. And also, how would you style your pink this summer?
